With over 8 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy (OT), Jason has worked in multiple settings with all populations with a variety of musculoskeletal impairments, developmental problems, and cognitive deficits. Jason’s education includes a Master of Science in occupational therapy from York College CUNY and throughout his career, he challenged himself to expand his skills across all areas of practice for the OT profession. Jason is experienced in providing treatment in rehab centers, skilled nursing homes, homecare, etc. Over the years, he fulfilled many roles as therapist/CEO/ supervisor /hand clinics specialist/clinical instructor, as well as a professor within the OT programs at many CUNY and SUNY universities. He taught and collaborated in the development of student curriculum for OT programs and mentored future practitioners.
Jason also has experience as a peds OT working in public schools across Queens and Brooklyn for students with learning and adjustment challenges and maximizing their independence.During the beginning of the pandemic Jason was called to be acting Chief Director for Brookdale Hospital’s Inpatient/Outpatient hand therapy departments and would provide homecare services to his patients with covid in their homes. His willingness to incorporate his wealth of knowledge enabled him to achieve success with his patients and now is partnering with Total Physical Therapy of Massapequa!
